The U.S./Canada drawing series is based upon Blane De St. Croix’s travels to numerous border crossings, supplemented by press photo documentation. The northern border depicted in the series is less fortified and contentious with respect to United States’ politics, in emphatic contrast to the U.S. southern border with Mexico.
