MONGOLIA: GOBI DESERT

Photographic documentation of travel and research in Mongolia’s Gobi Desert, Ikh Gazriin Chuluu (Land of Great Stones, in August 2012. Staying in a traditional nomadic encampment and interacting with the unique environment while focusing on questions of ecocritical identity. The resultant work Nomadic Landscape, was exhibited in the Mongolian National Modern Art Gallery in Ulaanbaatar.
